FAQ

  • Absolutely! Our sessions are up to two hours for a reason! I’ve worked with many anxious dogs and often time/patience works wonders! You are also welcome to book a pre-session visit to my studio to see how your dog reacts before booking in - just pop me a message!

  • I recommend no more than two adults attend a session. This is to keep distractions to a minimum and ensure we have a calm environment that will help set your pet up for success during their session.

  • Without trying to be a total buzzkill…I highly advise against taking kids along (under the age of 10). My priority is to ensure your pet is fully relaxed and at ease for the session, throwing kids in the mix often makes it high energy and quite distracting for them and set them up for failure. To get the most out of your session and give us the best chance at capturing beautiful photos of your pet we need a relaxed, quiet studio.

If you do want your kids to be in a photo, I recommend having another adult take them to the studio towards the end of the session.

I reserve the right to end a session if I feel the environment is too chaotic for the pet involved due to children not respecting the boundaries put in place for the wellbeing of the pet.

  • We have a supply of snacks at the studio but if your dog has a tendency to be a wee bit picky we recommend bring their favourite high value treat.

Does your dog like to strut their stuff in different outfits? Bring as many accessories/props as you’d like!

If your dog has any favourite toys it’s never a bad idea to bring those either!

We have water bowls and a comfy bed they can use so there’s no need to bring those items.

  • If your dog is high energy, we highly recommend a vigorous play session before your shoot - this could really help them focus when in front of the camera and experiencing the studio for the first time.

If your dog is regularly groomed, keep this in mind for when you book your session.

Bit tip for the humans of doodle breeds - please make sure the hair around their eyes is nice and trimmed. Capturing the pups eye clearly is a big part of what makes our images AWESOME so we need to be able to see them clearly.

We use food motivation as a way to keep your pup interested during the session - for this reason we suggest maybe not feeding your dog as much before the shoot especially if they’re only slightly food motivated.

  • Commands really do help, β€˜sit’ and β€˜wait’ are the most desireable. However this is not essential especially if your dog is highly food orientated.

  • Not at all! We have a supply of puppy pads if needed. Accidents happen, we’re completely used to it here - no big deal at all!

  • Yes, there is plenty of on street car parking available along with the free puplic car park on Station Road, directly across from the studio.

  • Yes! At the moment I can photograph up to four dogs at a time, taken on a case by case basis as four chihuahuas is totally different to four St Bernards!

It costs Β£25 per added dog, to book a session for 3+ dogs please contact me directly.

  • The session fee does not include any digital files. You will have the opportunity to purchase digital files if you wish at your viewing appointment. You can view our product guide for prices below.
